Organized by Lima Artist and Activist Terri Lynne Blosser, this event promises to deliver an afternoon of Fine Art, Entertainment, and Delicious Food all for a $10 ticket. There will be plenty of opportunities during the event for attendees to donate additional funds all of which go directly towards the ongoing restoration of The Ohio Theatre Lima, a 97 year old Historic Theatre listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings.

Ms. Blosser, who has tirelessly volunteered her time, talents and skills to the ongoing restoration work at theatre has gathered an impressive list of regional artists: Organizer Terri Lynne Blosser, Co-owner of The Ohio Theatre Lima Joe Correll, Mary Jo Knoch, Kristin Lee, John Rausch, Amanda Rose, Scott Rose, Sue Smith, John Wehn-er and Maha Zehery.

Additionally, Steve Parlato, acclaimed Connecticut YA Author and Award-Winning Artist is also contributing his work to the cause. Mr. Parlato’s “They Are Not Disposable” collages were recently exhibited at ArtSpace/Lima in 2022. Incidentally, Mr. Parlato was Joe Correll’s college roommate.

The Ohio Theatre Lima, located at 122 West North Street in Downtown Lima is on the National Register of Historic Places. Opening in 1927 as a movie palace and vaudeville theatre before being converted into a nightclub in 1978. Although nearly one half of the Theatre has been fully renovated, the remainder of the space is still undergoing a major renovation correcting years of damage caused by a leaking roof and returning the theatre to a more traditional look as it might have appeared in the roaring 20’s!

Assisting with the renovations is Friends of the Ohio Theatre, a 501c3 non-profit which raises funds to help pay for the restorations.
