IMPROVISATION WORKSHOP

In addition to the MainStage Shows we will also be performing improv comedy on the Cabaret stage when the MainStage is dark.  This will be an ongoing troupe of performers with strong improvisational skills. In order for us to put together this troupe of actors, on Saturday  March 4th from 12:00 - 4:00 PM we are conducting an Improv Comedy Workshop for all those local Actors who are interested in learning this very valuable skill! We will be repeating the workshop on Sunday the 5th also from 12:00 - 4:00 PM. Cost for the workshop is $40 for each day. However, as an Avante Garage Company Member you will receive a 25% discount on all classes and workshops offered by The Avante Garage. We will be casting two shows from the participants of these workshops: “Talk Show” - an ongoing live improvised Talk Show Show with genuine notable Lima Bean guests as well as actor portrayals of guests, and “The Avante Garage!” - an ongoing Improv Comedy Show. Both shows will be performed on The Stage Door Canteen Cabaret Stage and all of the actors will get paid for their performances.
